Indira Priyadarshini was the name given to that girl, who was born in the wellknown Nehru family. Besides being very rich with an attractive personality, her grandfather, Mothilal Nehru, was an unbeaten and a famous lawyer. Indira's father Jawaharlal Nehru (born in 1889), as he grew up, was sent to England for higher studies in Cambridge University, where he did law. In 1916, he married Kamala Kaul, a beautiful Kashmiri girl, Indira was the only child of the couple.
